♡ special interests

 my interests, special or otherwise, are very personal to me.  if i ever infodump or share facts about something i enjoy or a character i love, it's sort of like when a cat bumps its head against your leg. it means i trust you and am sharing a part of myself and what i know as an act of communication and bonding. please don't tease, mock, or belittle them. i mean, autism aside, it's just rude!

 "sol, how can you be anti proship?"  the answer is simple! i engage with media as critically as i can. i am an adult who can tell the difference between reality and fiction, and i can also spot when fiction contains something damaging that can and has bled into reality. if you identify as proship or dead dove, i'm blocking you! it's as simple as that! it sets a very obvious precedent that i do not want to associate with. it isn't me "advocating for censorship" or being "anti fiction," it's me having a brain. got a problem with that? save us both the stress and just block me! ♡

 hello there! i'm sol!  i'm an artist, writer, vsynth cover artist, and aspiring author who's been on the internet for about a decade or so now. oh god my aging bones
i'm an autistic individual with adhd and a few other things swimming around in my head that make me a bit scatterbrained. be patient with me, but don't hesitate to reach out! i love making new friends and yapping about anything you might wanna chat with me about. i'm usually either working on some sort of project or at work sweeping up after screaming children, but when i'm not i'm on my steam deck, writing something, or thinking about drawing or working on my ocs instead of actually doing it.

 please keep in mind :  I consume all media critically. These are characters that, for one reason or another, my neurodivergent brain has latched onto like one of those fish that hang onto other fish. you know the ones. anyway a good few of these guys aren't the best people. i do not condone their actions nor endorse the romanticization of such! character introspection and psychology is a big part of why i find myself drawn to characters, be it in a positive, negative, or grey way. i only ask that you have good faith in me as to what characters i toss around like hackey sacks.
